Roses, Spain

Hide Ports

Less than 20 miles from France, Roses sits on the Costa Brava, Spain’s rugged and scenic southeast coast, where Catalan and Spanish are both official languages. Lounge on the golden beach, travel to nearby Cadaqués to visit the Salvador Dalí museum, or spend a few hours touring the Citadel of Roses, which was built in the 16th century to protect the town from pirates and other marauders. The museum at the fortress will add context and color to your visit.
