Day 1 – Disembarkation Day
On disembarkation from Oceania Riviera, guests will board a motor coach for a tour of Vancouver’s North Shore including visits to sites such as Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge. On arrival back at your hotel, the rest of the afternoon and evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at Pan Pacific Hotel or Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver, or similar.

Day 2
Depart your hotel early morning for a transfer to Rocky Mountaineer Station in Vancouver to join the GoldLeaf Service® aboard Rocky Mountaineer® for your full two-day rail journey to Banff. Departing the Pacific Port city of Vancouver you will pass through the lush farming regions of Fraser Valley, Hells Gate and the Fraser Canyon. Following this, Rainbow Canyon with its beautiful colourful cliffs, passing through Ashcroft as you follow the Thompson River to your overnight stay in Kamloops. In Kamloops, depart from the train (transfers included) for an overnight stay in a Kamloops hotel (allocated on arrival). Hotels in Kamloops are a moderate class.

Day 3
Re-board Rocky Mountaineer® ready for day two of show stopping scenery and superior service. Today the route takes you through the Rockies as you continue towards Banff navigating Rogers Pass in the Glacier National Park and marvelling at the remarkable engineering achievement of the Spiral Tunnels. Onboard you will experience endless views of snow-capped mountains and stunning glaciers through the domed panoramic roof allowing you incredible photo opportunities. On arrival in Banff, your stay for 3 nights is at the Moose Hotel and Suites or Hotel Canoe and Suites in Banff, or similar.

Day 4
Today you will board your motor coach for a full day sightseeing tour of Banff & Yoho National Parks, including Lake Louise, Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge and Takakkaw Falls. Lunch will be included on this tour. On arrival back at your hotel, the rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight at the Moose Hotel and Suites or Hotel Canoe and Suites in Banff, or similar.

Day 5
After breakfast at your hotel a half day tour of Banff including a cruise on Lake Minnewanka awaits. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore this stunning town in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Overnight at the Moose Hotel and Suites or Hotel Canoe and Suites in Banff, or similar.

Day 6
After breakfast at your hotel a transfer will take you to Calgary Airport for your flight home.

The Rocky Mountaineer® programme is capacity controlled and may be withdrawn without notice. Guests travelling aboard Rocky Mountaineer are limited to two (2) checked pieces of luggage per person. Luggage will not travel with guests and will be delivered separately to the hotel each night, therefore a handbag-sized bag per person is recommended for you to keep on your person under your seat, with any necessary medication and essentials that you require throughout the day. An Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) for travelling into Canada may be required. Certain restrictions apply. Transfer on final day back to Calgary Airport are based on the flight details booked by Oceania Cruises. Guests travelling independently or those that have booked extra nights directly with the hotel will need to make their own way to the airport.
